Du 04 au 11 août 2018 à La Réunion, la 6ième Coupe de l'Océan Indien réunit les Seychelles, La Réunion et Maurice, pour des rencontres dans différentes disciplines : laser 4.7, laser radial, Laser Standard, optimists lors de cette compétition inter-îles.
Après cette quatrième journée de régate, 12 courses ont été courues dans les séries laser et 10 en optimists. Eole s'est faite attendre et s'est donc dans un vent léger de nord nord -ouest que se sont déroulées les 2 manches de la journée.
